saturday chores

This morning after feeding the livestock & mucking out the barn, I managed to move the mineral block cover up from the bottom pasture by crawling underneath it and lifing.

After that I clipped hooves of 3 momma goats & 3 babies. I'll have to finish the rest tomorrow while jacy helps faith with the cow shots.

Jacy spotted a coon by the shop tuesday night. The new .22 rifle (xmas gift) will soon come in handy.

Tonight I'm going to relocate the chickens from the barn back into the coop. I'll block off the exit and clip their wings until they figure out the routine. I think they are too vulnerable to coons in the barn.
